Understanding Cinema

هذه الدورة المكثفة مع المخرج نواف الجناحي موجهة الى المبتدئين الشباب كمدخل الى السينما وأساسيات صناعة الأفلام. الحصص مصممة لمساعدة الطلبة في تأسيس فهم لماهية لغة السينما، وكيف تستخدم كأداة للتعبير وسرد القصص. الطلبة خلال 21 يوما سيطلعون على تاريخ السينما وكيف ولدت، سيطورون مهارات التحليل والتذوق الجمالي، سيتعرفون على التفاصيل الأساسية لصناعة الأفلام، سيكتبون المراجعات والسيناريوهات، وبتمارين عملية سوف يقوم كل منهم بتخطيط، تصوير، وتركيب مشهد.

This 3-week intensive course with Nawaf Al Janahi is aimed at young beginners as an intro to cinema and the basics of filmmaking. The classes are designed to help students establish an understanding of what the language of cinema is, and how it is used as a medium of expression and telling stories. In 21 days, students will learn about the birth and history of cinema, develop analytical skills and aesthetic taste, learn all basic details of filmmaking, write reviews and scripts, and with hands-on exercises each one of them will plan, shoot, and edit a scene.
